Bob Shannon is the founder of First and Main Business Advisors, whose specialty is helping seasoned business owners and their teams to create remarkable companies since 2007. The majority of his career was spent on Wall Street where for twenty years he held senior positions in Management, Sales and Training. His last seven years were repairing stock brokerage offices that all were in crisis situations. In addition he worked in the banking industry where he was in Senior Management and a Board of Director of First Commonwealth Financial Corporation in Alexandria, Va.

He has helped over 50 businesses in the DC and Baltimore Metro areas and is a Gazelles International Business Coach. Jeff Cochran of Exclamation Communications and Bob started Business Book Briefs (B3) in July of 2011, reviewing the top business books for business execs who don't have the time to read.

He has had many major successes and failures, which made it abundantly clear to him that having different perspectives from other professionals, can save a lot of time, money and emotional distress. Not necessarily in that order!

Bob resides in Annapolis, MD with his wife of 27 years Susan and has two children Katie 27 and Patrick 25.
